THE DO’S AND DON’TS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VAPE SHOP ETIQUETTE

THE DOS:

Once you have decided to visit a vape shop, it’s important to remember to be polite with the staff. They are available to help you with personal assistance in case you want a vaporizer, want to fix some problem in your vaping stuff, or just need information on what is best for you. Just know they are in contact with customers all day and there’s nothing wrong with being kind. Most importantly, if there is a thing you do not understand do not be ashamed to ask, but ensure you do it in polite manners.

If staff are accommodating, it is always helpful if the customer already has a general idea of what they want. Before going for the vaping products whether it’s the e-liquids or the vape mods, it is appropriate that you do some homework on them or the vape shop you plan to visit. It is okay to be a newcomer and seek help, but at least understand some basics that would be vague.

Moreover, there are always vaping etiquettes that are available for each vape shop make sure you read these and adhere to them. You will find that most shops will put in place regulations concerning the age of people who can use the receivables, whether they can be used inside the shops, or the policy concerning returns. Following these policies aside from making shopping easy also shows recognition of the efforts stored in safe and comfortable environments provided by the store.

DO RESPECT PERSONAL SPACE

Sometimes the vape shops might be small leading to customers crowding the shops, especially during peak periods. Avoid invasions of other customers’ personal space. Do not cluster around the counter or near someone who is browsing, preferably because it is awkward. It is also important to avoid raising your voice too much while talking with friends and avoid interrupting people’s shopping.

THE DON’TS:

DO NOT VAPING IN THE SHOP

Sometimes the clients even make a mistake to take a puff in the shop not knowing that it is prohibited. Yes, not all the vape shops permit vaping inside their store and even in their shop it is rude to vape unless permitted to do so. Large clouds of vapor can also cause inconvenience to the other customers and employees where the shop is small or has inadequate ventilation. Especially, be sure that it’s allowed to vape indoors or, if not, wait until you are outside.

DO NOT BOMBARD THE STAFF WITH YOUR QUESTIONS

In this case, the employees are knowledgeable, but there is no need to question them inappropriately. Do not ask for serial or obvious questions if you don’t intend to buy something. Taking advice from others is good, but at least make it look like you are very interested in the products in question. Employees like those customers, who value the time and knowledge of staff.

DO NOT REQUEST FOR COMPARISON CONSTANTLY

It may be fun to compare different vape products, however asking for constant comparison may put the other customers and the staff off. It is perfectly acceptable to seek advice if you have not made up your mind about a certain product but do not make a nuisance of yourself by arguing about the infinitesimal differences between the items for hours on end. But from my experience, it is more effective to look to the staff for what is most beneficial for the patients.

DO NOT VAPE IF YOU’RE UNDERAGE

This may sound obvious, but please remember that everyone in a vape shop must be of legal age. As a general rule, it is safer to ask for proper identification if you are purchasing any vaping products. People tend to try and break all these to avoid getting into trouble, either ending up in trouble themselves or by disturbing other’s experience of shopping.
